Our Grass
At Greengrass, we place a huge emphasis on quality, this doesn’t just relate to workmanship but also, to the materials and products we use. We have gone to great lengths to source the best products available globally.
In an industry diluted by cheap imports, we’ve built strong relationships with excellent suppliers in Europe who share the same high standards as ourselves.
Our premium product ‘Victory C’ is only made from the best raw materials (polyethylene) available (a combination of c6 and c8 polymers, unavailable in places such as China). Good pile density and pile height are also key. The ‘c’ shaped fibres give extra resilience and longevity. There is a PP root zone mix for added stability.
It is extremely durable with a 10 year UV guarantee. It has a lovely spring green colour with a high thatch pile giving it a very natural & realistic appearance.
At Greengrass, it is not always about cost – value for money is how we like to look at it!

Lawns – Never have to mow that lawn again!
So why are so many people turning to artificial grass? Wouldn’t you love an all year round perfect lawn?
From time saved cutting that lawn every week to improving your lifestyle, have a look at some of these benefits:
Maintenance Free (nearly)
Artificial Grass is low maintenance. During the summer, natural grass needs maintenance weekly. Think of all the things you could be doing instead of cutting the lawn?
If we have a good hot summer (if only!), it needs to be watered and if we have a wet summer, it becomes a soggy mess!
All our grasses are power brushed and then dressed with sand – keeping fibres standing longer and the grass weighed down. With an artificial grass lawn, all you have to do is go out and enjoy it.
Also if you have a holiday home synthetic grass offers you a perfect solution to have the perfect outdoor space from the moment you arrive.
Golf in the back garden – A dream come true!
Whatever the size or shape, we can tailor it to suit your needs. The nylon putting surface we use has been stimp and roll tested with stimp speeds between 9 and 11. It has been sourced from a leading European manufacturer of artificial sports grass and is suitable for amateur and professional use.
To replace an existing lawn with an artificial grass putting green, we remove 6-7ins of soil and replace it with 804 stone and top it with dust. This is then screeded and compacted to ensure a base and putting green built to last. At this point, we spend time on the final levels ensuring; a few different types of putts for the customer. As a golfer myself and, with 2 Professionals in my family, this is an important part of the construction. If pitching facilities are required, we can lay underlay before the artificial grass.
This is then top-dressed with sand to adjust the speed and make the green more receptive. For pitching purposes, we can also add more sand to the putting surface which would make it even more realistic.
If you have space a tee can be installed a few metres away to practice those longer shots and why not a sand-filled bunker?
Play Areas – A fun place to play!
Whether it is a Play area in your home or in a Creche/ School, artificial grass is the perfect product to make your area a safer and cleaner place for the kids to play. It is hard wearing and low maintenance so provides an excellent surface for little kids to crawl on or for big kids who want to play football (or practise gymnastics!). And because we brush in sand, the fibres stay up longer and the grass is naturally weighed down.
In schools, children can enjoy artificial grass as a space for their lunchtime football games or they can just chat with friends on the clean, quick-dry surface. Synthetic grass doesn’t get muddy so there will be no more muddy shoes in the classroom or in your house! Or how about no rubber stains from recycled pads? Parents will also be happy with no grass stains on their children’s school uniform. If artificial grass is to be used under play equipment, we used Pro pads to soften the surface.

Artificial Grass School All Weather Play Area
Synthetic grass can also be installed in areas that are normally hard to maintain, maybe you have a shaded area where grass struggles to grow or a high traffic path that gets muddy. We can cut the grass to suit that space. If you have a hard surface, artificial grass can be laid on it to create a softer and more attractive outdoor space.
Artificial grass provides a safe, green space for all year round play. It can transform a tired space into an exciting area that the children will enjoy for many years to come.
